GFRC Panels

Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) made its way into the North American market from Europe in 1973. The product consists of portland cement and silica sand composite reinforced with randomly dispersed, alkali-resistant glass fibers. The resulting mixture is a superior, stronger and more durable lightweight cladding material that can be molded to produce a variety of forms and finishes that owners and architects expect without compromising the function.

The Niradia Group of Companies has selected GFRC as an excellent solution for the construction of a superior building envelope, especially in the Pacific Northwest climate. We offer two different panel systems:

SW4000: A single GFRC cladding skin supported by a light gauge steel stud frame and necessary air/vapor barrier and drainage behind the skin.

SW5000: A composite sandwich panel with durable GFRC skins separated by grooved extruded polystyrene core.
